Abstract: Although the demand for power is growing rapidly, it is not being met at the same rate. Even though the generation capacity has reached 20 GW still, significant power crisis is being observed due to unreliable power system operation. Delivering power and energy at a lower cost is inevitable for efficient operation of the electric power system. Increased energy consumption has aggravated the issue of energy security, necessitating the usage of renewable resources. Solar photovoltaic technology is one of the best strategies for encouraging electricity generation from sources of renewable power in Bangladesh. Grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems are becoming more and more popular every day because of the growing amount of solar energy and the declining ancillary prices of solar PV modules. Due to industrialization and fourth industrial revolution electric demand is soaring high. As a result, thereby a gap between demand and supply exist to solve this problem. This research proposes technoeconomic operation of solar PV power integrated power system optimization to optimise operation cost and selling price. A model for solar PV integration has considered with south eastern PGCB grid. We have analysed the techno economic benefit comprises of operational cost and selling price. A grid power system with seven buses is tested using an ideal power flow method. The prospect of injecting renewable power into one of the test bus systems is being investigated. Conventional power plants use seven different kinds of fuel to provide the load. Nine transmission lines connected each of these facilities. To determine the system's optimality conditions, the Lagrangian technique and Karush Kuhn Tucker (KKT) criteria are applied. To evaluate upcoming operational costs and selling prices, a number of prospective case studies have been simulated. Both with and without solar energy, the optimal power source, vi operational costs, and selling price were evaluated. Despite a 60% increase in load, a considerable amount of operating cost was decreased in 2041, accounting for 72.22%.
