<description>A Surveillance System Based on Motion Detection and Motion Estimation using Optical Flow
Hossen, Muhammad Kamal; Tuli, Sabrina Hoque
In today’s world Surveillance system is playing an important role in the field of security. Moving object detection &#13;
has been widely used in video surveillance system. As well as motion estimation is an important part of surveillance video processing such as video filtering and compression from video frames. This paper proposes a simple and efficient surveillance system based on motion detection with motion vector estimation from surveillance video frames. Motion is detected with a new approach- edge region determination which makes detection faster. The surveillance video is then processed for motion estimation using optical flow with Horn-Schunck algorithm for estimating motion vector for its reasonable performance and simplicity. This method is computationally faster without requiring any special hardware for image processing. So it can be more applicable to embedded systems.

<description>Agent Command Manipulation System Using Two Keys Encryption Model
Sohana, Sarah; Mukta, Rahma Bintey Mufiz
Cryptography plays a vital role in information security system against malicious attacks. This security system uses some algorithms to scramble data into scribbled text which can only be decrypted by party those possess the associated key. Keys play the most important role in ensuring security of those algorithms. A two keys based method which uses AES as core algorithm is proposed here. This improved method has been developed as application on Android platform which allows the user to encrypt confidential messages before it is transmitted over the network. This application provides a secure, fast and strong encryption of data. There is a huge amount of confusion and diffusion of data during encryption that makes it very hard for an intruder to interpret the encryption pattern and the plain text form of the encrypted data. Comparison between the proposed system and traditional systems show that the proposed one provides enhanced security in data transmission with good performance.

<description>An Empirical Machine Translation Framework for Translating Bangla Imperative, Optative and Exclamatory Sentences into English
Alamgir, Tanzina; Arefin, Mohammed Safayet; Hoque, Mohammed Moshiul
A set of Context Sensitive Grammar (CSG) rules to translate Bangla imperative, optative and exclamatory sentences into English are introduced in this paper. In this paper, sentences are considered according to the function and purpose of the user rather than structure of the sentence. Three algorithms are implemented to complete major three steps of machine translation system (i.e., parsing, transfer and generation). The experimental results shows that the performance of the proposed machine translation framework is quite appeasement and efficiency is compared with Google Translator for some selected sentences which are quite satisfactory

<title>Design a Human-Robot Interaction Framework to  Detect Household Objects</title>

<description>Design a Human-Robot Interaction Framework to Detect Household Objects
Rafsan, Sadi; Arefin, Safayet; Hasan, A. H. M. Mirza Rashedul; Hoque, Mohammed Moshiul
In human-robot interaction scenarios, the ability to identify a single object from multiple objects is an important task for service robots. Although there has been recent progress in this area, it remains difficult for autonomous vision systems to recognize objects in natural conditions. The service robot should detect a particular object according to the user’s demand. This paper describes a human robot interaction framework to detect a particular household object from multiple objects through text based interaction. Haar Cascade Classifiers is used to detect objects and developed a user friendly interface for human-system interaction. The propose framework use color, size, or position information to distinguish the user requested object in multi object scenarios. Evaluation results shows that the system is quite effective to detect the target household object from multiple objects in real time.
